How to apply online

Step 1: Create an account with an email you have access to and a password that is easy for you to remember.

Step 2: Click on 'New Issue' in the upper right corner.
 

The next screen is a disclaimer on Legal Aid's services.

In some cases, this application can guide you to the process and forms you will need to represent yourself in court. Submitting this application does not guarantee that Legal Aid of Nebraska will be able to offer you limited or extended representation. 

Click 'Next' in the bottom right corner to continue.

Step 3: If you are a member of a Native American tribe or have an issue in tribal court, this step will guide you to our Native American program.

Otherwise, select 'No' and click 'Next' in the bottom right corner to continue.

Step 4: If any of the following are true for you, we suggest you call our AccessLine instead or follow the directions to time-sensitive resources. 

If not, select 'No' and click 'Next' in the bottom right corner to continue.

Step 5: Select whether you want to apply for services or the type of question or issue you need help with.

Click 'Next' in the bottom right corner to continue and answer the questions to the best of your ability.
