 court to “set aside” your Nebraska criminal conviction if you were sentenc
 ed to:\n•	probation that was satisfactorily completed\;\n•	fines that have b
 een paid in full\;\n•	community service that has been completed\; or\n•	inca
 rceration for a term of one-year or less. \n\nIf you have unpaid fines or 
 were unsatisfactorily discharged from probation\, you will not be eligible
  for a set aside.\n\nA set aside is a court order which “nullifies” or voi
 ds the conviction but does not remove the conviction from your criminal re
 cord. When a criminal conviction is set aside\, your criminal background c
 heck will show both the original conviction and the set aside order. The s
 et aside of the conviction shows that the judge believed you have been reh
 abilitated and will remain law-abiding in the future. \n\nThe decision is
